We decided there’s no better time to look back at the best looks to ever grace the show’s red carpet. From Marilyn Monroe’s sparkly gown in the early 60s to Lupita Nyong’o and Cate Blanchett’s impressive showings. There’s certainly lots to love. Not Even Bella Hadid Can Save Vogue Spain’s March 2021 Cover

Bella Hadid added six Vogue covers to her portfolio in 2020. So we’re obviously surprised it has taken a whole two months for Bella to pop up on a cover of Vogue in 2021. Better late than never as Vogue Spain taps the forum favorite to front its March 2021 issue. Following Jill Kortleve‘s questionable cover last month, photographer Micaiah Carter and stylist Patti Wilson join forces for the title’s latest. Bella rocks a black wig and a look from Prada’s Spring 2021 collection for the truly quirky cover image.

Members of our forums could not believe their eyes. “Easily, without a shadow of a doubt, the worst Bella Hadid cover of Vogue I’ve encountered. The hair is a monstrosity!” declared vogue28.

“That wig is tragic,” exclaimed namelesscloud.

“What’s up with this ugly Medusa hair?” asked a definitely dumbfounded Hafdis.

Benn98 clearly isn’t a fan: “No wonder it’s so awful, it was styled by Patti Wilson! First strike is the full-length cover. Second strike is the styling, which is carrying Bella instead of the other way around. Patti Wilson shouldn’t be doing any work for this magazine, sorry! Her style is so far removed from what Vogue Spain is about.”

“Bella’s worst cover ever. How did they manage this?” wondered bluebanter.

“I get the 60s influence, but the wig, lack of eyebrows and Bella’s expression just don’t sell it,” Urban Stylin chimed in.

“She looks so dull on the cover and that wig is horrible,” echoed burbuja8910.

Meanwhile, versustito simply described the cover as “ugly.”

Do you love the cover? Check out Bella’s accompanying cover feature and share your thoughts here.

GarnerSTYLED: Erin

I’m rolling out a passion project that I’ve wanted to do for my audience. We will call it #GarnerSTYLED — I took four women of various sizes and body types and styled them.  Erin is the first to be featured. I loved her willingness and positivity in doing something she’s never done before in terms of letting me dress her and being in a IG reel. I hope I did her justice. This is my first stab at such a project and I’m excited to build on it.  All ladies involved got to keep their clothes and shoes (generously gifted by @naturalizer).  Reel format is on my Instagram.

Charlize Theron, Michaela Coel and Zendaya Are Just a Few of the Stars Covering Vanity Fair’s Annual Hollywood Issue

Vanity Fair is known for its annual Hollywood Issue and the magazine’s 2021 offering just dropped. Radhika Jones has definitely been on a mission to propel the magazine to new heights. Just look at recent covers featuring Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Gal Gadot and Viola Davis. Last month’s Billie Eilish cover almost went unnoticed, but the publication’s latest is a feast for the eyes. Michael B. Jordan, Charlize Theron, Zendaya, Sacha Baron Cohen, Spike Lee, Maya Rudolph, LaKeith Stanfield, Awkwafina, Michaela Coel and Dan Levy are all captured by Maurizio Cattelan and Pierpaolo Ferrari for the playful cover.

“The worst Vanity Fair cover ever. And they’ve had some shoddy covers over the years. There’s not a single positive point I can think of. Not even the styling,” exclaimed Benn98 the moment the cover dropped.

“This is the worst thing ever,” echoed caioherrero.

“This is so bad, like People magazine bad. Everything looks so fan-made,” critiqued THD96.

Yohji was also horrified: “Yikes. I guess this is what happens when you can’t get everyone in the same room. The main one is just so busy and messy. There should’ve been just three people.”

“Do people still remember/care about the Hollywood Issue? It’s such a nonevent these days,” said A.D.C.

But not everyone was disappointed. “This is fabulous! It’s fun and doesn’t take itself too seriously. Something we really need these days,” appreciated [Piece Of Me].

“Honestly, I love it. It’s fun, vibrant, something different. I really like the art direction, it’s so stylized that it works for me and I’m glad they did that, embracing the fact they’ve (presumably) shot them all separately and not trying to pretend otherwise,” agreed LastNight.

18 Reasons Spring Is Still Sweater Weather

Spring likes to play by its own rules. It can be bordering 70 degrees one day, then plummet to the mid-50s by the end of the week. That’s why it’s vital your sweater game remains strong. Enter spring sweaters.

Whether you’re covering up a simple tank top or a frilly spring dress, the key to layering is lightweight fabrics or open weaves. Wool is allowed in small doses, just make sure a decent part of your pullover’s content comes from other sources. There are also sweaters begging to be worn solo. And there’s no need to stick to spring-appropriate brights. Expand your color horizons by including neutrals instead of strictly relying on pastels.

Obviously, your stockpile of all-enveloping knits that rival the puffiest puffer won’t work. So here are 18 lightweight options to refresh your spring sweater supply. You don’t have to wait until the weather warms to wear them. Simply layer them under or over your winter-worthy faves.

The Misses Outnumber the Hits at London Fashion Week Fall 2021

It’s official: London Fashion Week Fall 2021 is a wrap. Just like in New York, brands had to follow strict rules and regulations. The designers showing in the British capital opted to create lookbooks or hold audience-free runway shows for Fall 2021. Despite the obvious obstacles, London Fashion Week regulars Emilia Wickstead, Simone Rocha and Bora Aksu offered up their latest wares. On the other hand, staples like Christopher Kane and JW Anderson were nowhere to be found.

So what were the highs and, frankly, many lows of the week? Well, Emilia Wickstead made us think of Prada, but in a good way. Vivienne Westwood crafted 90 percent of her collection using materials that don’t harm the environment. Roksanda managed to successfully mix minimalism and voluminous silhouettes. Meanwhile over at Simone Rocha, the collection felt more H&M than high fashion. And Matty Bovan gave us more of the same old, same old.

Scroll through the slideshow above to check out the hits and several misses of London Fashion Week Fall 2021. As always, these reviews are brought to you by our candid and unfiltered forum members. A word of warning: Some of this season’s cheers and jeers may just surprise you.

Lila Moss Looks Like Her Mother on Vogue Japan’s April 2021 Cover

Lila Moss’ star continues to rise with the daughter of modeling royalty Kate Moss scoring fashion gigs left, right and center. She’s already landed covers for V Magazine, Vogue Italia and Chaos SixtyNine. Not to mention notable runway appearances for Miu Miu and Fendi. Lila’s latest accomplishment? Gracing Vogue Japan for April 2021. Following in her mother’s footsteps, Lila receives the quintessential Luigi & Iango treatment sporting a retro-inspired hairdo along with a piece from Tomo Koizumi’s capsule collection with Emilio Pucci courtesy of Anna Dello Russo for the sultry cover shot.

The cover divided our forums. “This is the first time that I see her as a real model. I love this cover!” raved crmsnsnwflks.

“This is the best she’s looked thus far… It’s giving me very Kate Moss British Vogue June 2013 by Patrick Demarchelier vibes,” said Wagon1974.

“A beautiful image of Lila, no doubt thanks to Luigi & Iango’s (re)touch! This is undoubtedly a tribute to Kate’s photoshoot for British Vogue and a good one at that!” proclaimed aracic.

“I think this cover looks great! What irks me is that Luigi & Iango sorta Photoshopped her into looking like a clone of Kate…” disapproved russianelf.

“That’s the first time I actually like her, but still I wonder why are they trying so hard to make her happen,” shared namelesscloud.

“Who is next? This new wave of nepotism models is the worst. I am more surprised about Lila wearing Tomo Koizumi, who is not even Vogue-worthy!” exclaimed JohannesL.

Moxie Remon definitely agreed: “God, I miss the days when they’d just pull a model from an obscure place and give us something actually worthy. This is just sad.”

Check out previews of Lila’s cover feature and share your thoughts here.

All the Street Style From London Fashion Week Fall 2021 You Simply Have to See

Images: Imaxtree

We never know what to expect when it comes to London Fashion Week street style. This season, comfort was king. From sweats to sweaters, everything at London Fashion Week Fall 2021 was pretty laid-back.

Neutrals reigned supreme. But the outfits weren’t one-note. Multiple shades were combined to create some much-needed depth. Sneakers were the clear favorite on the footwear front. Although, there was a smattering of bold boots. Like chunky Chelsea varieties and hiking boots.

The bags were another focal point. Instead of gargantuan totes, mini carry-almost-nothings dominated in both crossbody and backpack forms.

Check out the slideshow above to see every single London Fashion Week street style look from the Fall 2021 season.

Megan Thee Stallion Stars on a Pair of March 2021 Covers for Harper’s Bazaar

Glenda Bailey didn’t exactly have the best track record on our forums over the years. So when Samira Nasr took over Harper’s Bazaar, we were eager to see what she had in store. But recent covers featuring Sarah Paulson, Liya Kebede and Awkwafina flopped. The mag’s March 2021 issue sees Megan Thee Stallion making her debut as a Bazaar cover star. Photographed by Collier Schorr, the American rapper poses before an orange backdrop wearing Chanel for cover one (below) and dons Saint Laurent on cover two (after the jump).

Needless to say, neither cover made a good impression on our forum members. “Both covers are terrible. I’ve never seen Megan look so boring,” commented gunsnroses.

“Just when you thought it couldn’t get any worse,” liberty33r1b chimed in.

“The makeup, or lack thereof, made her look really washed out here. The expression also looks like she’s exhausted. Disappointing, they could’ve done so much with her,” voiced Marc10.

[ Not a tFS forum member yet? Click here to join! ]

“Collier Schorr is so awful and dire. I will never understand how she has a career in fashion photography. Megan is a beautiful woman, but in these pictures every ounce of life is sucked out of her…” proclaimed mepps.

RedSmokeRise shared the same sentiment: “They’ve managed to suck all the life and fun out of her persona!”

“I’m underwhelmed and I blame Collier Schorr,” declared mikel.

“It’s certainly proving to be a case of ‘better the devil you know’ in terms of what Glenda Bailey once gave us at Harper’s Bazaar because Samira Nasr has been a major disappointment from the very start. Not even a cover under her full control is breaking new ground…” wrote vogue28.
