There aren't many people who can pull off wearing what looks like a supersized embellished thimble in their updo and call it fashion, but not many people are like Cardi B. The rapper worked every single beaded detail. Additionally, she made a case for millennial pink eyeshadow and flirty lashes.

The Grammys aren’t known for being a “tame” award show like the Oscars or Golden Globes. Almost anything can happen at the Grammys, which leads to some interesting things on the red carpet. The 2019 Grammys played into this, especially on the beauty front. Where else would we see a hat so wide it deserves its own zip code? And there aren’t many occasions where we see hair extensions that go beyond a celebrity’s back.
Even with the no-holds-barred drama, the majority of the looks still mesmerized. They made us think outside of the confines of the usual red lipstick and updo we often see on the red carpet. Hair accessories and the aforementioned hats proved popular trends. As for lipstick, the 2000s-era ultra glossy nude lip was the clear winner.
