A bright pair of plaid pants deserves an equally eye-catching jacket with structured sleeves. Use a white mock-neck top as a base layer and cap it all off with white boots.
If you’ve been a firm no on acid-wash jeans, you may reconsider after seeing this look. The throwback jeans are tempered by a basic black turtleneck, a cropped blazer, a rusty beanie and black boots.
Now this is how to dress for work in winter. Layer a black turtleneck under a charcoal gray blazer, then add in black leather pants, a strong-shouldered coat and black boots.
Turn up the volume on your basic turtleneck and stark pants with a red quilted coat and floral Balenciaga Knife sock boots.
Because you can never have enough Burberry. Strap on the brand’s belt bag over a white turtleneck, khakis and a classic checked trench. Shiny boots ground the look.
Take a basic button-down and faded jeans and turn things up a notch with an open orange shirtdress layered under a shearling moto jacket.
Put a new spin on logomania by sporting an oversized scarf flaunting your brand affiliation. Add in a green maxi dress and a long plaid coat to round out the look.
Make your base layer pop by favoring a patterned turtleneck layered under a dark blue shirt and a bright green coat. Complementary flared trousers and two-tone boots help amp up the look.
Find the biggest floral puffer out there and combine it with wide-cuffed jeans and slouchy silver boots. You can also stand out from the street style crowd with a shorts suit complete with a matching coat, a colorful Hawaiian shirt and over-the-knee black boots.
Add a little kick to an oversized sky blue suit with black and white boots. A multicolored bag ups the ante.
Take your dark denim button-down and team it with plaid pants, an olive green coat and two-tone boots. Slip on a crossbody bag with an intricate strap to hold everything in place.
Stripes and colorblocking can be difficult to pull off simultaneously. Make it work by styling a multicolored striped turtleneck with a navy skirt, a two-tone teddy coat, statement tights and orange boots.
Show off your color coordination skills by building your outfit around a striped coat. Then tie your turtleneck, blue jeans, drawstring bag and shoes into the color scheme. Earn extra credit by wrapping up your low pony with a similarly striped scarf.
The classic turtleneck done three ways. Use a chunky navy sweater version to stay warm under a blazer and round out the look with an asymmetrical skirt in a lighter hue. Use a baby blue one to layer under a boxy jacket teamed with green plaid pants and a bucket hat. Or simply wrap a plain white turtleneck up with a graphic dress.
Feel free to go matchy-matchy from your top to your pants to your puffer.
Pairing plaid jeans with a white ribbed sweater and a camel coat boasting black trim looks pretty cool, especially if you roll up the sleeves of the sweater. A furry bag and neutral footwear add extra polish.
Go green on green with a textured sweater and corduroys. A plaid coat and snakeskin boots add even more dimension.
Neutral knits can still make a statement. Cap them off with dark brown boots to add another layer to the look.
Jazz up a plain white tee with pink jeans secured with a zebra printed belt and a two-tone coat. Once again, rely on your trusty white boots to finish off the look.
Have a little fun with texture by styling a chunky turtleneck sweater with a ruffled skirt. Throw in croc-effect black boots for even more drama.
Pile on the purple with a lilac sweater and violet trousers with a matching belt. Stick with white boots, though, so as not to overdo it.
Pair a crisp blouse featuring a tie back with a matching skirt. Cover up with a tie-back black tank and accessorize with black sock boots.
Top off logo pants with a statement sweater featuring everything from feathers to netting. Go big when it comes to your bag as well by opting for a fire-engine red version.
Layer a pale sweater under a khaki jumpsuit for a cool, bundled-up look. Slip on a buttoned tank on top and white cowboy boots on the bottom, then cap it all off with a corresponding beanie and statement shades.
Coordinate two distinct colors on your coat with your turtleneck sweater and maxi skirt.
Make a statement with a colorful floral coat. Then complement the coat with a similarly hued sweater boasting a cool collar, black pants and boots. Add a little contrast with a crossbody bag in a different floral motif.
Transform a white tee and jeans combo into a lewk by incorporating a trench covered with a long scarf, larger-than-life earrings and snakeskin boots.
A sporty plaid tracksuit is a real winner. Blinged-out sandals make it street style-appropriate.
Cut out the pockets on your fave faded jeans to expose even more of a textured long-sleeve top. Just make sure you secure your jeans in place with a (preferably snakeskin) belt.
Fight the winter chill by wrapping up a big blue turtleneck sweater and faded jeans with a colorblock coat. Match your pumps to your bag and tuck your hair into your sweater for a cohesive ensemble.
Complement a pair of patterned pants by focusing on one color in the pattern and match it to your turtleneck and faux fur-trimmed coat.
Indulge in a whiteout by wearing a white top, pants and thigh-high boots. Break up the monotony with a green jacket and a sparkly Balenciaga bag.
Flaunt your midriff in winter by opting for a cropped turtleneck and plaid jacket. Wide-leg dark denim will help balance out the revealing look.
Puffy sleeves show no sign of going away, so embrace the trend by styling a checked version with graphic jeans and cap-toe pumps.
Drape a faux furry coat over a red textured sweater. Plaid pants with red accents and lace-up white booties polish off the look.
Topping off a blood orange pleated skirt with a textured peachy sweater and a checked blazer? Genius. So is teaming a horse-themed blouse with plaid pants and a draped trench.
If you’re going to wear a lace-trimmed plaid vest and matching pants, make sure your cardigan has crochet detailing to highlight the lacy accents. Socks and your trusty Adidas are the best way to balance out the look.
Slip on a dark V-neck sweater over a tan turtleneck and then add in a neutral tiered skirt. Work in a plaid blazer, statement earrings, a patterned clutch and black boots to finish things off.
Hair accessories are trending so coordinate yours with your plaid coat, neon hoodie and jeans combo. Bonus points if you can tie in a bright bag and tan boots.
