Kinship Is the New Skin Care Brand That Takes Sustainability Seriously

Kinship Naked Papaya Gentle Enzyme Face Cleanser

Kinship Naked Papaya Gentle Enzyme Face Cleanser, $20 at Kinship

There’s been a lot of talk lately about sustainability when it comes to beauty. There are already skin care and makeup brands out there that let you refill your empties or reward you for recycling, but a new line just upped the environmental impact ante.

Kinship not only believes in clean beauty (just like the European Union, it’s banned more than 1,300 “questionable” ingredients), its packaging is truly eco-friendly. Jars are made from Ocean Waste Plastic (OWP), while tubes are constructed of Post-Consumer Recycled (PCR) materials. Even the shipping materials are good for the planet since they’re Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified. And the brand is cruelty-free to boot.

Kinship just kicked off with five staple products: Naked Papaya Gentle Enzyme Face Cleanser, Insta Swipe Lemon Honey AHA Pads, Supermello Hydrating Gel Cream Moisturizer, Self Reflect Probiotic Moisturizing Sunscreen Zinc Oxide SPF 32 and Pimple Potion Retinal + Salicylic Acid Acne Treatment. Prices range from $18 to $25 or you can pick up The Besties bundle for $50.

Head on over to Kinship’s site to get more info on its clean beauty and sustainable practices.
