Lutz Huelle Is the New Creative Director of Delpozo

Delpozo, a Madrid-based luxury brand, has just announced designer Lutz Huelle as its newest creative director, replacing Josep Font, who left the brand in September.

Huelle is known for his “Decontextualisation” and out-of-the-box ideas where he has been known to turn objects, such as a towel, into an evening gown, a dress made into a coat and a trench coat into a dress. The designer is also popular for his mixing of genres, such as casual and formal, feminine and masculine, and evening and sportswear. Such creativity has won the designer multiple awards, like the Ackermann Pret-a-Porter Prize and ANDAM Award.

Huelle told WWD that he does not plan on any rebranding: “It won’t be about reinventing the brand. The most important thing for me is to preserve what made Delpozo so wonderful.” Adding, “Delpozo is a brand that exists in its own world and people have an emotional connection with it. What we would like to do is to make it just a little bit more approachable, more real and suitable for the everyday life, not only for the red carpet.”

Huelle’s unique way of approaching fashion and daring sense of style and his creation of a daywear version of Delpozo is something to look forward to for the Fall 2019 and Spring 2020 collections in London. In the meantime, check out Delpozo’s Spring 2019 collection below.

These Flawless Skin Kits Just Completed Your Gift List

The holidays are here and you know what that means. Aside from the obligatory family gatherings and diet-wrecking feasts, exchanging gifts is another tradition in which we all partake. While receiving gifts is almost always nice, searching for gifts to give can be a little challenging.

This year, why not deviate from the usual presents and buy something that would definitely be appreciated by your loved ones and friends: the gift of luxurious skin care. We all started somewhere before we delved into our 10-step routines and followed Korean beauty trends. If you have a loved one or friend who has always wanted to step up their skin care routine, these mini starter kits are the perfect way to spoil them.

The One Winter Accessory You Won’t Want to Retire Come Spring

It’s that time of year again when we have to take out our thick coats and layer our clothes to keep ourselves warm. While we all love mixing and matching our winter clothes, gloves and mittens are often an afterthought. Back in the 60s, wearing gloves was a fashion statement and added a touch of elegance to any outfit. This fashion accessory need not be stuck in old times. Slipping on gloves and mittens can be just as fashionable today as it was before.

Gloves and mittens serve a purpose: to keep our hands warm. Choose materials that are soft on skin for you to wear comfortably throughout the day. Make sure that the fit isn’t too tight or too loose. Like the saying goes, it must fit like a glove. If you’re choosing gloves in plain colors, go with a pair that has some texture or embellishment. Avoid wearing gloves in the same shade as your winter outfit. Instead, complement your wardrobe with the color of your gloves. Fingerless gloves are great if you’re on the phone all the time and need your digits, but there are also gloves that are compatible with your touch-screen mobiles. Have rings or watches? Wear them underneath your gloves, not over them. Remember to remove your gloves when eating as proper etiquette.

Is it time to replace your worn-out gloves or mittens? Check out these superb pieces we found.
