‘Tis the Season of Fluffy Footwear
Thanks to Telfar, shearling bags are all the rage. But bags aren’t the only cozy item to consider currently. There’s also been an influx of fluffy footwear to keep your feet toasty.
Why now? Well, it’s a combination of two things. The pandemic and plunging temps. With many of us still working from home, comfy shoe sales are skyrocketing. Shearling and teddy coats are always popular winter options so it makes sense we’d want our shoes to (somewhat) match.
There are several versions to choose from. For those working from home, shearling slippers are your best bet. Looking for something to wear outdoors? Try furry ballet flats, plush Birkenstocks or lined mules. You can even keep comfy on that rare night out (or in) with Marni’s slingback pumps.
Scroll through the slideshow to stock up on fluffy footwear before these pairs sell out.

These Barrier Repair Creams Will Help Solve All Your Skin Woes
Most moisturizers improve your skin’s barrier (the outermost layer of skin). But there’s a new generation of barrier repair creams that take it one step further. They hydrate, repair and smooth complexions so they look healthier and more radiant. And do so in a way that really lasts.
Instead of short-term hydration that evaporates after a few hours, these creams and serums make a difference in the overall health of your skin. They help your cells hold on to moisture longer, making it appear — and, more importantly, act — younger. And they’re a must-have for anyone with sensitive, irritated or problematic skin.

Adut Akech and Imaan Hammam Strike Several Poses for Versace’s Flash 2021 Campaign
Due to the pandemic, Versace wasn’t able to produce a mainline campaign for the Fall 2020 collection. But the brand’s compensating by dropping a mid-season campaign entitled Flash 2021 as we head into a brand new year. Versace ads always bring the glitz and glamour, whether it’s Steven Meisel shooting supermodels past and present or Jennifer Lopez stealing the spotlight from Kendall Jenner. Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott are back as campaign photographers capturing Adut Akech and Imaan Hammam (both styled by Jacob K) in the studio posing up a storm.
Although, the images fell flat for our forum members. “What are these poses? Embarrassing,” declared avonlea002.
“Some weird positions going on here. It’s all I can see,” said WAVES.
“Strong cast, questionable image selection,” commented zoom.

In the same frame of mind was Summer Day: “With this cast, these pictures should never have seen the light of day. Versace continues to sink its own ship.”
Ghesquiere32 was also underwhelmed. “This is trash.”
“This type of image is not one that is suited for photographers like Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott. Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin have proven themselves to be the masters of this concept. As for the post-production, I would classify it as a mess,” proclaimed GivenchyHomme.
“The composition of the images takes me back to Max Mara’s Fall 2019 advertising campaign by Steven Meisel, but I’m not complaining. We have Versace, we have two fabulous models, we’ve got Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott and have bigger things going on in the world right now. I like it!” added vogue28.

The Top 10 Body Oils for Hydrated, Happy Skin All Over
Winter is synonymous with dry skin. Most of us reach for the lotion when our skin gets flaky, cracked or scaly. But there is another option: body oil. So we decided to round up the best winter body oils.
Body oils have lotions beat because they absorb in a flash. If you’ve ever been in a rush and had to lotion up then slip on your clothes, you know what we’re talking about. Plus, they deliver a more exceptional olfactory experience. There are formulas that leave behind lighter aromas that really linger. Or, if you’re looking to skip perfume, there are ones that deliver stronger fragrance profiles.
Another benefit? That coveted glow. Body oils up the radiance factor and some even slough away dead skin cells to really get you shining. And if you’re missing going to the spa, using one of these formulas will give you that luxe feeling at home.
Check out the slideshow above to discover the best winter body oils.

Ring In the New Year by Treating Yourself to Some Arm Candy
When it comes to jewelry, our thoughts naturally go to necklaces, earrings and rings. But bracelets can deliver just as much impact. Whether you wear them solo or in stacks, bangles, cuffs and the like are easy ways to jazz up even the most basic ensembles. And the best bracelets are the ones so stellar, you never want to take them off.
This year we’re embracing variety. The chunky chain phenomenon is simply stunning on wrists. While a delicate pearl bracelet immediately adds a touch of class to any look.
Then there are the more unique baubles. Like a cuff that resembles a scrunchie dipped in gold. Or a quilted bracelet to complement your puffer of choice. Longing for a pop of color? Isabel Marant’s beaded bracelet has your name on it.
Here are the best bracelets to satisfy your craving for a little or a whole lot of bling.

Dua Lipa Channels Linda Evangelista on British Vogue’s February 2021 Cover
Dua Lipa’s magazine covers are definitely hit or miss. Whether she’s appearing on an absolutely “dated” British ELLE cover or earning high marks fronting Vogue Spain. Now Dua returns to the cover of British Vogue for February 2021. The singer looks like Linda Evangelista thanks to a cropped blond hairdo along with a Giorgio Armani Spring 2021 black dress courtesy of Kate Phelan in the Emma Summerton-shot image.

Nonetheless, our forum members are less than thrilled with the outcome. “They really played her dirty,” proclaimed a disapproving jorgepalomo.
“Should have stuck to the old style rules, they were better…” GERGIN points out.
“Why would you take Dua Lipa and style her like this? It’s aged her unnecessarily,” added an undoubtedly dismayed honeycombchild.

“It’s like they sucked all the life and fun out of her,” said tipi1355.
Marc10 also clearly isn’t a fan. “She’s such a pretty girl and wears high fashion with an almost Rihanna-like confidence so this is a major disappointment.”
“U.K. Vogue says the inspiration for this shoot was Linda Evangelista. That’s like taking the magazine’s archives and using them as toilet paper because all the shops are shut,” commented tigerrouge.
But vogue28 obviously disagrees: “Must be looking at a different cover because I find this all completely inoffensive on the eye and think it’s rather gorgeous.”
