The Spice Girls have changed some of the lyrics in their classic hit “2 Become 1” in order to make it more inclusive.
In an interview with Gay Times, Emma Bunton revealed that she and her bandmates had made the decision to change the line, “Any deal that we endeavor, boys and girls feel good together,” and replace it with “Once again if we endeavor, love will bring us back together.” Emma added that the group was all in a hotel when they were discussing the song. They agreed that it “absolutely” needed to be changed.
