Glenda Bailey can’t catch a break from our forum members who’ve been relentlessly calling out her questionable covers of Harper’s Bazaar. Not even covers of Jennifer Lopez, Alicia Vikander, Rihanna, Jennifer Aniston, Alicia Keys and Demi Moore have sufficed and the title’s offering for November shows zero signs of improvement. Reese Witherspoon is all smiles on the newsstand cover of Bazaar‘s annual daring issue wearing Alexander McQueen photographed by Camilla Åkrans and styled by Patrick Mackie. The actress switches things up for the subscribers’ cover (after the jump) decked out in Dolce & Gabbana.
But our forum members weren’t having it. “Given that she’s blonde, you just KNEW Bazaar would employ a red color scheme before even seeing the actual cover shot. But that’s the least flattering shot I’ve ever seen of her!” declared tigerrouge.
“They styled her like an old lady. Reese is so energetic and playful, but these clothes drag her down,” said GivenchyHomme.
“Beyond hopeless…” proclaimed KissMiss.

In the same frame of mind was Marc10: “This is literally middle school level creativity. It seriously infuriates me that these people are paid huge money to come up with stuff like this.”
“I refuse to believe this was shot by Camilla. What the hell? The covers are awfully shot and heavily Photoshopped! Not to mention this is the same theme we get from Harper’s Bazaar every single year. It’s a constant copy and paste,” noted SLFC.
“They have really gone mad with the amount of text on their covers,” Srdjan pointed out.
Forum member amby couldn’t agree more. “They really need to change their cover layout, ASAP! It’s getting even more boring month by month.”
